FlyPort is an OpenPicus Wi-Fi compact module (only 35 x 48mm) based on Microchip PIC4F256FJ106GA 16 bit processor (with pre-programmed bootloader) and the new Microchip Wi-Fi certified (b/g/n) transceiver MRF24WB0MA/RM with PCB antenna.

FlyPort is not just a simple Serial-to-Wireless module, it's a powerful system with no need of external host processor as it combines processor power (Microchip PIC24FJ) with connectivity (WI-FI b/g/n certified transceiver).

Flyport is available in 2 versions: integrated PCB Antenna (MRF24WB0MA) or external Antenna version (MRF24WB0MB) with uFL SMT connector.

Flyport fits your application, catch the power of remappable pins! You can customize the hardware configuration by firmware, at runtime, according to your needs.  For example you can have up to 4 UART Ports or 22 Digital I/O.
